Why I was Absent (All of June)...

So, I didn't post at all last month and it wasn't due to not reading. I read a lot of amazing books that I am going to talk about soon. First off, June is really chaotic for me. I end my year of University, have to move out, and my birthday. I  had another thing that I decided to take on. I was going to do a complete edit on my book Verified, which is something that I have been working on since August 2011 and recently got stuck on what to do with it. Being the person that I am, I ended up reading the Percy Jackson and the Olympian series and catching up with the Heroes of the Olympian Series in a little over ten days. As a result, I only had ten days to edit my book, which included my birthday. I have a ton of post that I want to write, so they will come soon. It has been great to edit my book Verified and I am excited about it. I am starting drafting on another book The Truth about Sisters, which I am really excited about and it is really dark, but fun.
Anyways, I hope everyone is doing well.

What I have been up to lately...

1.Writing.

I have been really stressed lately with getting ready for school and such. I also have been wanting to write more in the past few months. This has helped me a lot.

2. Working out and reading at the same time.

I am now doing at least an hour of working out on weekdays and I finally got the hang of working out and reading.

3. Packing.

I know that I am going to forget something.

4. Google+ Hangouts

Not the most productive thing, but I am talking to people that I go to school with. So yay!

5. Cooking.

Another stress reliever.

I also watched the new Doctor Who, which was more then amazing.

So what has everyone else been up to?

I-am-sorry-that-I-haven't-posted-in-a-week-but-I'm-having-another-contest...

Sorry for the lack of posting. I have been busy, reading, or catching up on Being Erika(Love that show) Anyways by the title, I have a contest. I got to meet Laurie Halse Anderson, yesterday. I bought another copy of Speak. So the contest is for a signed copy of Speak.
Here is a summary: Since the beginning of the school year, high school freshman Melinda has found that it's been getting harder and harder for her to speak out loud: "My throat is always sore, my lips raw.... Every time I try to talk to my parents or a teacher, I sputter or freeze.... It's like I have some kind of spastic laryngitis." What could have caused Melinda to suddenly fall mute? Could it be due to the fact that no one at school is speaking to her because she called the cops and got everyone busted at the seniors' big end-of-summer party? Or maybe it's because her parents' only form of communication is Post-It notes written on their way out the door to their nine-to-whenever jobs. While Melinda is bothered by these things, deep down she knows the real reason why she's been struck mute...
Laurie Halse Anderson's first novel is a stunning and sympathetic tribute to the teenage outcast. The triumphant ending, in which Melinda finds her voice, is cause for cheering (while many readers might also shed a tear or two). After reading Speak, it will be hard for any teen to look at the class scapegoat again without a measure of compassion and understanding for that person--who may be screaming beneath the silence.

Another Apology...

I have posted two review this month. EPIC FAILURE!
Sorry. I had Surgery at the beginning of the month, I had so many doctor's appointments that I should have lived there, My Older Sister opened a Barista Stand, We had a huge snow storm, Project for Awesome, Christmas Shopping and Celebration, My one of my younger sister's 15th Birthday and the anniversary of her death day, and then my uncle got really sick to top it off. So, this December wasn't the best month for me.
I also have 2 days to read seven books, to have 365 book in a year. Would you want me to post this massive list?
Contest Questions: I am having an upcoming series of contest. I have a few questions. Should they be spaced out or all in one week? Do you mind if they are ARC of released books? What should I do as extra entries... Quotes, Trivia, or a Mix of things?
All feedback would be amazing. I am going to read.

The next two weeks are going to be lacking on post. One of my surgeries, has been moved from Tuesday to next Monday. I am also helping my older sister, with what I can do. She just bought a coffee stand in this economy and is actually doing quite well for starting out. She is also doing online college to get an Accounting degree. I hope everyone is doing a great and having fun.

So...

Hey Everyone,
This is just a life update. I have to go to the doctors all this week and have three surgeries/procedures on next Monday and Tuesday. Meaning that 1. I am super busy. 2. I will be on a clear liquid diets as of Sunday and Monday. I am hypoglycemic, and I tend to get loopy, when I do this. So post for the next week might happen and might not. It all depends on how I feel. I also have to do school work, because I am such a procrastinator. So if I have spare time, I will post. I am thinking about doing a scheduled post for Cover Art Saturday... now to pick the which one.
