Series that I love...

This is just going to be a few series that I love. I read all of these series, before I started blogging. So, these are mini reviews of thewhole series.

The Sweep series by Cate Tiernan.
I read this whole series in about two months. There are fifteen books and they are around 150-200 pages each. The books are fairly quick reads. The series is about Morgan Rowlands. She finds out that she is a blood witch from the new kid in town, Cal. She learns what happened to her family and how she is the last of her line. The characters are trully amazing, like Hunter. Also, she has to fight againist dark magic. I don't want to say anything else, because I might spoil it. These are really fun books that I loved. The first nine books are from strictly Morgan's point of view. The last six books are from mixed views. I read these books, way before blogging. If you are interested in this series, the first book is Book of Shadows.

The Midnighter Trilogy by Scott Westerfeld
These are the books that I found Scott Westerfeld from. I read them as they came out. Anyways, the plot is that Jessica Day moves to Bixby, OK. Her mother gets a job offer from a high tech areospace comapany. Jessica finds out that she is a Midnighter. That means that she gets an extra hour hidden within the instant of midnight. A midnighter is born at midnight and has some sort of special power. For some reason, there is only a Blue Hour in Bixby and it was created by the Darklings and Slithers. They are dangerous and powerful beings that are also in the Blue Hours. I wasn't happy with the ending, but overall I enjoyed this series a lot. If you are interested in reading it, the first book is The Secret Hour.

The Guardians of Time Trilogy by Marianne Curley
The Guardians of Time (also known as The Guard) are trying to protect the past, present, and Future by traveling into the past to thwart their enemies, The Order of Chaos(also known as The Order), who are trying to change the past events to give themselves more power in the the future. The setting is Austrailia, which is amazing. I also enjoyed the characters, then. I was mad that some of the characters that I wanted to end up together didn't. I also enjoyed the authors othe book Old Magic. If you want to read this series, it starts with The Marked.

Confessions of Georgia Nicolson Series by Louise Rennison
I luuuurve the is series. It is totally fab. I have not read the last one, but if Georgia does not end up with Dave the Laugh... I am going to cry in a basket. I always expect to laugh a lot during this book. Pretty much this book is the diary of a teenage girl named Georgia Nicolson. She lives in London with her mad father, her crazy mother, and her crazy little sister, Libby. She has a cat that is half Scottish Wild Cat. Her best friend is Jasmine and the rest of the Ace Gang. This book is basically about being a teen and has marvy vocab. If you want to read this series, it starts with Agnus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging. I love the characters and it is truly a one of a kind book with fun characters and an awesome plot.
Ekk... I wanted to add more, but I think that four is a good start. I might add to this at another time. I am also borrowing this idea from Khy.

Operation TBD...

was today. It was so exciting. The party on http://groups.myspace.com/readergirlz was a lot of fun. 10, 000 books to sick teens in the 13 hospital in the US and Canada. It was worth over 175,000 and donated by 21 publishers. I am just smiling with joy, because at the same time Readgirlz/Readerguyz and author were dropping these books in public places. So many people were on the board and it was amazing.

Reading Since Last Blog:
Jinx by Meg Cabot was amazing. It is action and has some romance. I found it a bit predictable. Jean is moving to New York to escape her image and her past as "Jinx". She finds that is hard to do so.
Sweethearts by Sara Zarr was very awesome. Jennifer Harris or should I say Jenna Vaughn, is haunted by the disappearance of Cameron Quick(Her childhood best friend). She has changed her appearance and moved from her old life. Suddenly, he does and her life changes.
21 Proms Edited by David Levithan and Daniel Ehrenhaft (currently reading), so far cute and funny.

Quote of the day: "Some books are undeservedly forgotten; none are undeservedly remembered. " W. H. Auden

Love Sarah.
