I adored this series and I will miss every character in this book that I have grown attached too. They are complete bad asses and dangerous, but you can't help completely loving them. The plot of Darkest Mercy was full of surprises and twist. Like with the thing about Keenan, I was completely surprised with what happened to him and felt so stupid about it. The ending left me wanting more and I was sad to know that it was over. Marr weaved such a remarkable story that had a stunning ending. I absolutely love this series and can't wait to see what Melissa Marr will come up with next. If you haven't read this series, you need to read it as soon as possible. I promise that you won't regret it.

Radiant Shadows starts right after where Fragile Eternity ended. I found this book to be amazing. Ani was a really interesting character and I like learning more about her, then the vague mention in the previous books. Devlin was also deeper then he seemed and I loved him. The plot was fast moving and very interesting. I am intrigued in what the other books will be like in the series, because of something that happened at the very end of this book. Marr is a fantastic writer and I can't wait for more books from her. I would highly recommend reading this series, if you enjoy Holly Black's books.

Seth never though that he would find someone to settle down with. Then he met Aislinn. She is his true love and wants to be with her for forever. Forever definitely takes on a new meaning when your girlfriend is an immortal faery queen. Aislinn never though that she would be ruling faeries, the creatures she once Then she met Keenan , and he made her the Summer Queen. Now, Seth and Aislinn are struggling to stay true to each other as it grows nearer to summer. Pacts are made, Secrets are forged, and old friends become enemies.
I felt sorry for Seth. He didn't believe believe that Aislinn really cared about him and that she would leave him for Keenan. Aislinn was stronger in this book, but she didn't believe in herself as much. Keenan was annoying, because he lied a lot and twisted other's words. Donia and Niall had a bigger role and became more likable. The beginning was a bit slow, but as you got into it, it became more unpredictable. The book wasn't like most Faery books and that was goo. Marr is a great writer and her books just keep on getting better. I recommend this to anyone that likes faeries or has read the previous books.

Cover Art Saturday: Melissa Marr's Fragile Eternity

If you haven't read anything by Melissa Marr and you like fairies... What is wrong with you. Melissa's books aren't just pretty on the outside, but well written. I am really excited for Fragile Eternity, and be able to see what happens with Aislinn, Seth, Keenan, and possibly from Leslie and Irial from the companion book, Ink Exchange.

Now for the cover, has a butterfly on the front. Butterflies are commonly linked with fairies. They are also linked with growth, change, and time. The butterfly is also believed to be the soul, in some cultures. The girl looks similar to the one on Wicked Lovely.

Anyways, Fragile Eternity comes out April 21. I am very excited.
