Booking through Thursday(4)

I saw that National Library week is coming up in April, and that led to some questions. How often do you use your public library and how do you use it? Has the coffeehouse/bookstore replaced the library? Did you go to the library as a child? Do you have any particular memories of the library? Do you like sleek, modern, active libraries or the older, darker, quiet, cozy libraries?
I go to my library once to twice a week. I currently have fifty books or movies out at this time. I also going to my indie book store a lot. I went to the library as a kid and I remember grabbing picture books and later chapter books to read. I like the older libraries. They are more cozy and awesome. I also LOVE my library, no joke. It is so awesome and the people are sweet.

Booking through Thursday(3)

So I did this ages ago and I am going to start doing Book Through Thursday again.
What book do you think should be made into a movie? And do you have any suggestions for the producers? Or, What book do you think should NEVER be made into a movie?
I would love to see 20 Boy Summer, The Luxe, and Looking for Alaska as a movie. They are all great book. Alea, also mention Going Too Far and I totally agree with her.
As for what book shouldn't... Breaking Dawn... I am sorry, it would not go well in my opinion.
Take Care, Sarah.

Booking through Thursday(2)

1.Do you give books as gifts?
2.To everyone? Or only to select people?
3.How do you feel about receiving books as gifts?
4.What is the best book you ever bought for yourself?
5.And, why? What made it the best? What made it so special?
1. I just wrapped about 20 books for people. So yes.
2. To people that like to read. I try to give them gifts that they will like.
3. I love it.
4. Looking For Alaska
5. It is my favorite book, so I am not sure what type of person that I would be without reading it.

Booking through Thursday(1)

1. Do you get to read as much as you WANT to read?
2. If you had (magically) more time to read–what would you read? Something educational? Classic? Comfort Reading? Escapism? Magazines?

1. No, I am always busy, though I am not doing anything that I like. If that make sense, I have school, doctors, friends, and church. My doctors are about a three hour drive and I can't read in the car anymore.
2. I tend to randomly choose books (by their covers or recommendations). Right now, I have about 50+ books in my to-read pile. So, I would read those. They are YA, a few adult novels, and classics.

Peace out, Sarah.
